Concorde's Last Flight

Concorde's Last Flight

G3399  This aerial view of Concorde 216 on her final return flight to Filton Airfield, on 26th November 2003. This was a remarkable photograph taken by Paul Walters for the Evening Post, for a commemorative poster. He was suspended from a helicopter, above the area whilst Concorde did her turn around back to Filton. Taken over the Clifton Suspension bridge, which spans the Avon Gorge. You can see the crowds of people congregated along the edges of the down and around the Bristol Observatory watching this historic moment in time.
