| G3683 Answering a specification of NATO which related to a light single-seat hunter of attack on the ground, the Breguet firm conceived Br.1001 Taon, a small apparatus with median aerofoil out of arrow and three-wheeled train especially studied to operate since summarily arranged grounds. The pilot had sat very ahead in a fuselage which, realized in conformity with the law of the surfaces, contained a turbojet Bristol Orpheus. Breguet Taon accomplished its initial flight on July 25, 1957. Superior with his competitors of contest NATO of 1957, it was not less isolated with the profit of the FIAT G-91 for political reasons, and its development was some stopped. | |
