G1121. An aerial view of the purpose built Brabazon Assembly Hall. They were built, in the late 1940's, on the left of the east/west runway for the sole purpose of housing the very large Brabazon aircraft. They were built at great expense and were state of the art structures when completed. Since that time they have been used to assemble Britannia's and Concorde.
