Royal Air Force Training School

Royal Air Force Training School

Go back to the records from the 1955 map.

G1553. Pictured after the war, this is one of the buildings used by the RAF as a training establishment, to train fitters in the maintenance practices for Bristol Aeroplane Company engines. It is beginning to look derelict and was soon to be knocked down for post war airfield development.
