Rootes No 2 Factory - Surgery

Rootes No 2 Factory - Surgery

Go back to the records from the 1932 map.

G1648. This is the factory surgery. There is an examination table with a waste bucket underneath, in the middle of the room. On the left of the picture is a piece of medical equipment as yet unidentifyable, next to a large rectangular sink. A waste bucket for soiled dressings sits on the floor next to a trolley with bottles of liquid. This would have been very useful when there were industrial injuries on the site and especially during the conflicts of WW2.
