Aerial View of Rolls-Royce and The Fire Station

Aerial View of Rolls-Royce and The Fire Station

Go back to the records from the 2003 map.

G1788. This is an aerial view of the Central Fire Station at the end of the runway at Filton. Across the A38 are the offices of Rolls-Royce. There has been emergencies over the years necessitating the use of the fire service. The case of the Vulcan XA 894 along with a truck which was completely destroyed by fire during 1975 is one famous example.
