Brabazon moves for final assembly

Brabazon moves for final assembly

Go back to the records from the 1955 map.

G2200. Taken fron the roof of east bay Brabazon assembly hall the scale of the aircraft can be seen. The 100 foot span of the stub wings and engine nacelles with the fuselage tower over the vast crowd of factory staff and onlookers who turned out on a wet day in October 1947 to see, some for the first time, the masterpiece that was the Bristol Brabazon.
