Aerial View East Works - 1997

Go back to the records from the 2003 map.

G2247. A more recent aerial view of the aircraft factory taken during 1997. Gipsy Patch Lane runs eastwards towards the houses of Little Stoke. On the left are the red brick buildings of Whittle House with the Rolls-Royce sign just visible. On the right of Gypsy Patch Lane are the extensive buildings of numbers 1 to 5 East Works. The railway lines running across Gypsy Patch are part of the London to South Wales track, lead to Patchway Station.
