G3313. The Bristol Type 188 supersonic test aircraft landing at Filton in 1963, while the Hawker Hunter chase plane flies past. As its landing speed was high, a parachute was used to slow the aircraft down and reduce the risk of damage or fire from the brakes. Behind are the aircraft assembly halls at Filton.
