Bristol Type BR7

Bristol Type BR7

Back to the story

G1484. A Bristol Type BR 7 on the Bristol stand at Olympia in february 1913. This was one of the aircraft ordered by a Spanish purchasing mission headed by Col. Pedro Vives-y-Vych. They were to have Renault engines. The aircraft number 157 was flown at Larkhill in March but the wing section was inappropriate and the aircraft failed to meet the contract detail. Number 157 remained at Larkhill as and advanced trainer.
